Given that The Puppetman is the new movie from Brandon Christensen, the writer/director of the horrifyingly scary Still/Born and Z, it's no real surprise that the trailer for this one is as intense as it is.

The Puppetman tells the story of Michal (Alyson Gorske), whose father murdered her mother — but has always claimed it was an evil entity making him do it. Soon, with other people dying around her in strange ways, Michal begins to suspect her dad may not have been lying after all. Eep.

The Puppetman is streaming on Shudder from Oct. 13.
