A star-studded cast including Zac Efron and The Bear's Jeremy Allen White brings the true story of the Von Erich wrestling family to life in A24's upcoming drama The Iron Claw.

Directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene), The Iron Claw charts the Von Erichs' rise in the wrestling world. Von Erich patriarch Fritz (Holt McCallany) has raised his sons Kevin (Efron), Kerry (White), David (Triangle of Sadness' Harris Dickinson), and Mike (Stanley Simons) to dominate in the ring. But rival wrestlers aren't the only thing the Von Erichs have to worry about.

Tragedy after tragedy befalls their family, to the point that people think they're cursed. Can the remaining Von Erichs overcome their past to become champions? Or has the Von Erich curse truly doomed them?

The Iron Claw hits theaters Dec. 22.
