Those creepy ol' video tapes really the are the gift that keeps giving.

On Wednesday, Shudder shared its teaser for V/H/S/85, the sixth instalment in the anthology found footage horror franchise which will feature five new shorts from some pretty big name directors: David Bruckner (The Night House), Scott Derrickson (The Black Phone), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Culture Shock), Natasha Kermani (Lucky), and Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn).

The teaser doesn't give too much away, but we do catch a glimpse of large monsters, serial killers, and plenty of people screaming in understandable terror. The franchise's previous instalments, V/H/S/99 and V/H/S/94, were released on Shudder in the previous years.

V/H/S/85 is streaming on Shudder from Oct. 6.
