SAVE $44.99: As of Sept. 22, My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members can get a free extra controller when they buy an Xbox Series X (a $44.99 value).

Now that it's finally possible to get your hands on a new-gen console following years of supply chain issues, you have a very important choice to make: Which one will you get? In all honesty, there's no bad choice between the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, but only one of them comes with a free controller right now.

If you're a My Best Buy Plus or Total member, you're in luck — for a limited time, if you pick up an Xbox Series X at Best Buy, you'll get an additional controller at no extra charge. That's a $44.99 value, and you get a dedicated option for player two (or it can just serve as a backup when your other controller runs out of juice).

The Xbox Series X is a truly impressive start to Xbox's new-gen offerings. It's a powerful device, allowing you to play your favorite games in true 4K resolution at up to 120 frames per second using its 12 teraflops of processing power. It also comes stocked with a 1TB SSD, as well as other Xbox-exclusive features like Quick Resume, Smart Delivery, and more. Pro tip: Get an Xbox Game Pass membership with your new console. You won't regret it.
