The official trailer for American Horror Story: Delicate Part 1 is here, highlighting the unique horror of fertility treatments and pregnancy — and all that's before we even get to the birth. Where's the girl with the list?

Based on the 2023 novel Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine, AHS: Delicate follows Anna (Emma Roberts), a Hollywood actor who desperately wants to have a baby with her partner (Matt Czuchry). Persisting through multiple rounds of initially unsuccessful IVF treatments, Anna does eventually fall pregnant. Unfortunately, her troubles are far from over, as she becomes increasingly convinced something is targeting her and her unborn child.

This is the first American Horror Story season to be based on a book, as well as the first to include new ensemble cast members Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevingne.

American Horror Story: Delicate Part 1 arrives Sept. 20 on FX.
